Grounded
Since you’re born it’s always: WHAT’S NEXT? Rolling over, sitting up, cutting teeth, crawling,
walking, 1st grade, Etc. 10th birthday, 13th birthday,
high school, graduating, dating, college, internships, jobs, engaged, marriage.
AND NOW?
A full time staff member with Impact Africa, married to a
man who is wilder than my wildest dreams, 2 fun dogs, cute cozy home, Land Rover,
amazing friends and family.
GROUNDED … a season
of NOW.
He has called us here. And the “what’s next?” may not be for
a while. Is there disillusionment
when you’ve arrived in a season to possibly stay for a while? YES. I feel I must challenge myself even more,
right now. To take this time to continue learning and stay engaged. I must enjoy NOW and not live on the
adrenaline rush of “What’s next?” But to revel in the fact that: HE IS! HE
WAS and HE IS TO COME!
I reflect on Eph. 3:
For this reason I
fall on my knees before Him. The One from whom every family on earth receives
its character.
Daddy- Empower us
from the treasure of YOUR glory with inner strength. LIVE in my heart through
trust. Give us the strength to grasp Your love … the breadth, length, height,
depth.
I’m trusting that You
are working in us and are able to do far beyond anything we can ask or imagine.
I take comfort in
knowing that in each season we are to be rooted and grounded in LOVE (Him!).
